Edward Thomas and Son have been providing services to schools and colleges all over Surrey for over 30 years. Our school services fall are as follows, ongoing contract work providing transport for pupils to/from school and secondly coach and driver hire for school outings, day trips and excursions. With the experience that Edward Thomas have built up over the years, you can be sure that we are able to provide and maintain a safe, responsible and reliable service.

The safety of the children is always of the utmost importance to us at Edward Thomas and Son. We take these responsibilities very seriously, therefore, we wish to draw attention to the following when considering Edward Thomas for school services.

Drivers

All our drivers that are considered for school services undergo our own in-house training specific to providing services involving the safe and responsible transport of children. Our drivers are also subject to stringent criminal reference checks prior to their employment by the CRB (Criminal Records Bureau), further checks are carried out on a regular basis to ensure that we only provide staff suitable for working with children.

Vehicles

All of our vehicles are regularly inspected, tested and maintained by our own qualified coach technicians and drivers.
